Q: What are the advantages of staying in a São Paulo Apartment rather than a hotel?
A: We provide much more space at a much lower price. A double bedroom and a second twin bedroom or study, one and a half bathrooms, dining room, living room, fully fitted kitchen, washroom and lots of storage.  However, it’s also about independence; come and go when you like, invite friends and guests for dinner. It’s your space as you like it.

Q: Where are the apartments?
A:  The apartments are all situated in the same block in the best street in the Jardins “the gardens” in the heart of São Paulo Brasil. If this was London, it would be one of the best streets in Knightsbridge or Chelsea.  They are very close to best designer shops, café society, the best restaurants and bars in São Paulo. All within a very short walk.

Q: How easy is access from the apartment to key areas in São Paulo?
A: We are centrally positioned and close to key areas around Sao Paulo. Traffic during the rush hour can be a nightmare. The following times are during rush hour – divide by two if you are travelling out of rush hour:

  • Jardins to Park Ibirapuera – 10 mins by bike
  • Jardins to Avenida Paulista – 5 mins by car
  • Jardins to Itaim or Moema – 15 mins by car
  • Jardins to the center – 15 mins by car
  • Jardins to city center airport – 20 mins by taxi
  • Jardins to Berrini or Brooklin (new business district) – 20 mins
  • Jardins to international airport (GRU) 60 – 90 mins depending on luck

Q: Some say São Paulo can be a dangerous city – what is this area like and how secure are the apartments?
A: The Jardins are as safe as it gets in São Paulo. Most men and women walk around comfortably during the day and evening in this area.  The apartment block has 24 hour security and is gated and fenced.

Q: What is the minimum stay?
A: the minimum stay is 30 days

Q: What is included in the rent?
A:  Maid service two to three times a week. Also included are heating, electricity, gas, hot water, high speed wireless internet, basic HD cable TV package, telephone service (calls charged extra) and all taxes

Q: What is not included in the rent?
A:  All phone calls, premium cable services, washing and ironing services (available locally for about $25/week)

Q: What is included in the apartment?
A:  All rooms are fully equipped with quality, designer furniture and fittings. There is a fully equipped kitchen with dishwasher, stove, microwave, fridge/freezer, tea and coffee machines. All dishware, cutlery and cooking accessories are also included. And there is a separate laundry room with washing machine, drying facilities, iron and iron board. The living room includes top of the line 42” fullHD Samsung LCD with 3.1 surround sound, PS3 game machine with DVD and Blu-ray.  The master bedroom has a 37” fullHD Samsung LCD TV, and a Boston Acoustics stereo i-phone charging radio alarm system.

Q: What is the quality of the fixtures, fittings and furnishings?
A: We designed everything so we could live here ourselves. Granite counter tops, lots of cooking space, open plan kitchen, limestone vanity in bathrooms, pocket sprung queen size bed, leather couch and stools are just a few items. Enjoying your space when you stay in our apartments is important to us.

Q: Are there laundry facilities?
A: Yes, washing machine, drying facilities, iron and board. Full washing and ironing service is available locally for about $100/ month – ask us.

Q: Is there a maid service?
A: yes, our maid comes in 2 or 3 times a week.

Q: Are pets allowed?
A: depends on what pet. Please contact us directly for further information

Q: Is smoking allowed?
A: These units are non smoking. A $750 specialist cleaning charge is levied if smoking occurs.

Q: What time can I move in?
A: Pls discus your needs, we are flexible.

Q: How do I pay for my reservation?
A: Checks and direct money transfers.  Corporate accounts may establish billing procedures. Funds can be paid in US$, UK pounds, Canadian $ and Brazilian Reals in Brazil, UK or Canada.

Q: How big is the deposit?
A: $3.000 US$ is required as a deposit.

Q: Is there parking available?
A: Yes, there is secure parking available within 300m of the apartment at about $170 a month. Please enquire if you would like us to book it for you

Q:  What sports facilities are available locally?
A: There are a number of clubs and gyms available locally.  There is information on them inside the welcome folder available at the apartments.  We have negotiated special reduced prices for short term (less than one year) memberships. We can also provide rental city/hybrid bikes for your stay. Please enquire with us about type, timing, sizes and prices
